Regarding yesterday’s statement by the Director of the Office for Kosovo of the Government of Serbia, Petar Petković, that “Kurti’s police attempted several arrests in Bošnjačka Mahala” in North Mitrovica, when, as he stated, “they tried to arrest two brothers, Goran and Vlada Vučetić, in the city center, and then they were also looking for Miroslav Živković”, the wife of the aforementioned Živković came forward and denied this information.
In the video message, Jelena Živković asks where Petković got such information that someone was chasing her husband and asks Petković to address them personally and tell them.
“I am Jelena Živković, the wife of today’s appointed Miroslav Živković whom Mr. Petar Petković mentioned in his statement that he gave at 10 am. I want to state that I do not know where Mr. Petković got the information that someone was chasing my husband. My husband was with his family last night, in the house, nobody came to our door, nor knocked, nor chased him. Where did Mr. Peković get such information from? I want him to address us and tell us that. Also for the boys Vučetić Goran and Vladan, whom he appointed, I spoke with them today, the boys were around the city, walking, no one chased them”, said Jelena Živković.
Let us remind you that Petković yesterday, at an extraordinary press conference in the Government of Serbia, stated that in the northern part of North Mitrovica “there was a real state of siege”.
According to his words, “last night, ROSU special forces came from the southern part of Mitrovica with over 30 armored vehicles, wearing masks, armed with long guns and harassed the entire northern North Mitrovica”. It is not the first time that Petkovic spreads misinformation about the situation in Kosovo./The Geopost/
