MP from the Party for Freedom, Justice and Survival, Lazar Radullović, has accused the Serbian List of attempting to prevent his election as a member of the Kosovo Assembly, claiming that pressure was exerted on him, including physical attacks.
During a speech in the Assembly, Radullović said that he wanted to respond to the deputies of the Serbian List, who, according to him, had appealed to the Supreme Court during the election process to contest his candidacy.
He also recalled a case from past mandates, when, according to his claims, an MP from Nenad Rašić's party had switched to the Serbian Lista just a few days after joining the Assembly. Radullović claimed that the MP in question had been lured and paid to switch political parties.
"The problem with the Serbian List is that they cannot buy me, nor can they intimidate me," Radullović declared.
The Serbian MP said he had recently faced problems, citing physical attacks and the bursting of tires on his car.
He emphasized that these actions, about which he did not provide further details in his speech, will not force him to give up his mandate as an MP.
"The only way to remove me from this place is to shoot me. There is no other way you can take away my seat in this Assembly," he said.
Radullović also accused the Serbian List of operating under the influence of Belgrade, claiming that its representatives in the Assembly receive instructions from there.
"I'm not telling you, because you are pawns sitting here and taking orders from Belgrade, but your criminal organization is ready for anything," Radullović declared.
At the end of his speech, the MP reiterated that he will not back down in the face of pressure, hinting that he will continue to exercise his mandate in the Kosovo Assembly.
