The Student List will continue the dialogue on Kosovo and will review the implementation of the Brussels Agreement on the normalization of relations between Serbia and Kosovo, signed in 2013 with the mediation of the European Union.
This was stated by Ilija Srdanović, the bearer of this list in the early parliamentary elections of October 25.
In an interview with Radio Free Europe's "Uvid" program, he said that the new government will respect international agreements signed by Aleksandar Vučić's government.
Asked whether this meant continuing dialogue and full implementation of agreements, Srdanović replied that his movement “will remain open to talks,” with the aim of resolving issues that are in the interest of citizens and the international community.
However, he stressed that agreements reached by Serbian officials could be reviewed to assess their compliance with the Serbian Constitution.
Regarding the possibility of holding direct talks with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, Srdanović said that "decisions on this issue will be made after the formation of the new government."
He did not give a definitive answer as to whether the new government would be willing to extradite Milan Radoicic to Kosovo, stressing that "such matters will be handled in accordance with Serbia's legal procedures."
Srdanović is the leader of the Student List, which was formed based on decisions of faculty plenums in Serbia. The movement emerged from two years of protests against corruption and for the rule of law, initially aiming to function as an organization without a single leader.
He described the continuation of the dialogue on Kosovo as an essential part of the students' plan, but underlined that their positions on this issue will be based on the Constitution of Serbia.
