Kosovo Police have confiscated four long weapons during raids carried out at two locations in the municipality of Zubin Potok, as part of investigations into a case of threats against the Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla.
According to the police, after receiving information regarding the threat that occurred days earlier, investigative actions were taken that led to the raid of two locations in the north of the country.
During the search, three long guns were found in one location, while one gun was found in another. Two of the guns were possessed with a permit, while the other two were possessed without a permit.
Police announce that the suspect in the threat is a Kosovar male of Serbian nationality, who is suspected of currently being abroad.
The weapons have been seized by the relevant police units, while investigations into the case are continuing in coordination with the justice authorities.
