Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov visits China on Monday and Tuesday to discuss the war in Ukraine and deepening the partnership between Moscow and Beijing.
Talks between Mr Lavrov and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, who extended the invitation to the Russian minister to visit, will include bilateral cooperation as well as "hot topics" such as the crisis in Ukraine and the Asia-Pacific region, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. Russian Foreign.
According to reports, Russian President Vladimir Putin will go to China in May for talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping. The visit would be the first trip abroad of the head of the Kremlin since taking the new presidential mandate.
