"Radar" journalist Vuk Cvijic stated that Belgrade Police Chief Veselin Milic, who was the only one who presented the defense of all the arrested persons at the hearing at the VJT, claimed that at the time of Aleksandar Nešović's murder, he was not present at the "27" restaurant where the crime occurred.
Responding to Olja Bečković's question whether "Radar" has any other information that has not been published, journalist Vuk Cvijić said that he has information about what Veselin Milić said after his arrest at the hearing before the prosecutor, writes Nova.rs.
“Not only did he say he was not present, meaning he left the restaurant earlier, but he also mentioned the official note, the absence of which is being talked about in public all the time. It turned out that Milić apparently made an official note, but only the next day when he realized that Nešović had not returned home from the restaurant, and in which he also stated that he was not present at the crime,” Cvijić said.
A body believed to belong to wanted man Aleksandar Neshovic was found in a barrel, which was discovered on Thursday in the territory of the municipality of Indjija, VJT reported earlier.
Neshovic was killed at the "27" restaurant in Senjak.
It is suspected that he was shot by Sasha Vukovic, also known as Boske, in the presence of the former head of the Belgrade police, Veselin Milic, who, along with three other police officers from his security, participated in covering up the traces of the crime.
