A conference on the topic "Resilient Democracies in the Information Age: Nordic Perspectives on Countering Disinformation and Strengthening Societal Resilience" will be held in Pristina, which aims to address the challenges of the spread of disinformation and ways to strengthen democratic resilience.
The event will take place on April 15 at the Swiss Diamond Hotel, starting at 09:30, and is expected to bring together policymakers, experts in the field, journalists and civil society representatives.
The conference will focus on addressing challenges related to disinformation, emphasizing the importance of strategic communication, media literacy, and cross-sectoral cooperation as key tools for strengthening democracy.
The program also includes speeches from international experts, including Jessikka Aro and Markku Mantila, who will share Nordic experiences and practices in the fight against disinformation.
After the main sessions, the conference will continue with panel discussions and a workshop, where participants will have the opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss concrete strategies for increasing societal resistance to information manipulation.
