Analyst Šahrimanjan-Obradović: Despite the fact that Russia seems strong on the ground, it turns out to be the opposite

Although the Russian soldiers look like big “bears”, in front of the Ukrainian army they are nothing but a few wet mice. They leave their positions and military equipment, surrender themselves and their technological equipment to the Ukrainian army. Unable to confront the Ukrainian soldiers, the Russians fire rockets at innocent Ukrainian civilians.

Biljana Šahrimanjan Obradović from the Center for Strategic Analysis in Belgrade says that despite Russia looking big and strong, while Ukraine’s army weak, the opposite is happening on the ground.

“Words were spread that the Ukrainian army has nothing, it is weak, the soldiers would die, while the Russian army is powerful and similar, and according to my examples, it is not so,” says Šahrimanjan-Obradović.

The Ukrainian army has recently shown how capable it is of defending itself as well as attacking.

“We saw how the Ukrainian drone or unmanned aerial vehicle enters the territory of Moscow and arrives at the military airport “Igel”. Here you can see how capable the Ukrainian military is to defend and attack. Since 2014, Ukrainian soldiers have not been idly waiting, they have been trained and now they are expected to receive the F-16 planes as well,” adds Šahrimanjan-Obradović.

According to Šahrimanjan-Obradović, the Ukrainian army has no contemporary tanks, but fights Russia with their tanks.

“And do you know what they defend themselves with? They are defending themselves with tanks of the Russian army, which the Russian army left on the run or ran out of derivatives. These tanks are used against them,” says Šahrimanjan-Obradović.

Biljana Šahrimanjan-Obradović says that the Russian army does not have the strength to confront the Ukrainian army, while it is bombing civilians.
