The reports about the bombs in 41 schools throughout Montenegro were false and all the preconditions for uninterrupted teaching were created, the Police Administration of Montenegro announced.
“Officers of the Police Administration acted on all submitted reports, which referred to allegations of explosive devices in educational institutions and other facilities,” the Police Administration said in a statement.
“Police activities to identify the sender are underway, both through intensive police and prosecutorial activities in the country, and through international police cooperation. From the aspect of performed controls and implemented procedures that we have realized so far, there are all preconditions for the smooth running of the teaching process in educational institutions “, concludes the statement of the Police Administration.
The President of Montenegro, Milo Djukanovic, pointed out that the safety of children, as the most vulnerable category of society, and of all citizens, must be an absolute priority of the state and each individual.
“We must not allow the most important process of a society, such as education, which is already facing problems in functioning due to the pandemic, to suffer because of those who intend to provoke emergencies and destabilize the country before the election of a new government, on the threshold of the tourist season,” Djukanovic said on Twitter.
The session of the assembly at which the vote on the new government is to begin will start on Thursday, April 28, in Cetinje.
We remind you that the false report about the bombing reached the address of the President of Montenegro and some other institutions.
The first threatening message about the bombs planted in schools in Montenegro arrived on April 1. These reports were found to have been sent from addresses abroad.
