Ukraine claims that 15 major Russian refineries are out of operation.
Ukrainian attacks on Russia's energy infrastructure are causing major damage to the oil industry, significantly hampering refinery activity.
According to Ukrainian intelligence, at the end of September, 15 of the 38 main Russian refineries were out of operation, while 12 others had reduced production capacities, writes skynews.
A spokesman for Ukraine's Defense Intelligence Agency stated that the overall volume of oil processing at these facilities had fallen by 55.4 percent compared to the beginning of the year.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian attacks continue. Last weekend, after strikes on several facilities, large fires were reported at Russian refineries.
This comes after the controversial ceasefire over energy infrastructure between Ukraine and Russia has now ended.
