A document involving Stevan Pavicevic, the head of the declared terrorist organization “Civil Defense” (Civilna Zastita), was found in the Audi A6 vehicle, complete with an arsenal of weapons, which was seized by the security institutions of the Republic of Kosovo in Zveçan, on June 23, 2023.
Kosovapress has obtained a copy of this document, which testifies to the use of the AUDI A6 vehicle with license plate BG-955-JW, by Pavicevic since 2016.
The document is of the travel document type, when Pavicevic, on 22.07.2016 had completed the journey from Mitrovica to the town of Cacak in Serbia by hand. The document also contains the signature of Pavicevic.
The document also has the seal of the illegal municipality of the so-called Municipal Assembly of Istog, Osojan – Republic of Serbia.
In addition to the exposure by the Kosovo Police of weapons and symbols that are related to declared terrorist organizations, Kosovapress has learned that in the Audi A6 vehicle with Belgrade license plates, a series of data were found as evidence, linking a dozens of Serbs with the supply of weapons and with the attacks that were carried out in the northern municipalities last month, against the institutions of Kosovo, as well as towards KFOR and the local Serbs themselves.
The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, had accused Serbia for the terrorist organization, and on June 29, 2023, the Government of Kosovo declared two Serbian formations operating in the north, ” Civil Defense” and “Severna Brigada”, as terrorist organizations.
On the other hand, the Serbian authorities, Aleksandar Vucic and Petar Petkovic, have called the case a fabrication.
Even “Serbian List”, in a press release on June 30, 2023, reacting to the declaration of ” Civil Defense” and “Severna Brigada” as terrorist organizations by the Government of Kosovo, called these organizations non-existent.
The history of “Civilina Zastita”
According to the data provided by Kosovapress, “Civil Defense” has been operating in the north of Kosovo continuously, although, in 2015, according to the agreements that were brokered by Brussels, between Kosovo and Serbia, it should have ended on September 1st 2015. Meanwhile, the workers of “Civil Defense” were then integrated into the institutions of Kosovo – mainly in the Kosovo Police.
“Civil Defense” in Serbia operates within the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
However, according to the data of the Kosovo Center for Security Studies, the “Civil Defense” in Kosovo consisted of members who had undergone military training and were considered very dangerous for the security of Kosovo.
At the beginning there were about 500 members, but after the declaration of independence of Kosovo in 2008, this number had increased to over 750 in 2013 and 2014.
In addition to being part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia, “Civil Defense” has also had close cooperation with the Russian Federation.
On April 27, 2014, Stevan Pavicevic, as the head of “Civil Defense” and the current chairman of the Serbian List, Goran Rakic, had received 10 vehicles as a donation from Russia, namely the center known by the West as an espionage center, the so-called “Humanitarian Russian-Serbian Center “.
The handover was carried out exactly in Nis, the city where this center still has its headquarters.
Even the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, in a TV show in Serbia, one day after the Serbs stripped the uniforms of the Kosovo Police in the north, on November 6, 2022, declared that “now everything is in our hands… who knows, maybe we should bring back “Civil Defense”. /KosovaPress
