The three American senators who have begun their Balkan tour in Serbia, Bosnia and then Kosovo have stayed in Sarajevo today where they met with the presidential trio there.
In a press conference, Senator Jeanne Shaheen expressed her disappointment with Milorad Dodik's stance regarding Russian aggression in Ukraine, Gazeta Express reports.
"It is important that we all look at what is happening in Ukraine and the unprovoked war that has started and is causing tragedy and civilian deaths. I personally think it is important that we all condemn what is happening there. I appreciate that Bosnia is an independent state and you have to decide for yourself. I am disappointed and I do not agree with Milorad Dodik on this issue, but as one of the three presidents of your state, we met and he was there," she said.
