Analysis:
RT Balkan continued the narrative of migration and ethnic cleansing on 12.02.2024, but now also deals with Albanian municipalities. In an article obtained by Demokracia and Radio Television of Kosovo (RTK), the title is exaggerated because there is no mass migration as portrayed on this portal.
According to data from Adem Jashari International Airport, 287,205 travelers passed through the airport in the first 31 days of this year, which is 51,629 more than in January 2023, when 235,576 citizens used the airport.
This represents a 21.9% year-on-year increase in passenger numbers, with a total of 996 more flights for the same period in 2023.
According to the report, although there is a movement of citizens, they are well aware that Kosovo has a large wave of emigration, with most of them visiting their family members in the West for the first time.
The title presented is for propaganda purposes and we consider it clickbait.
