Donald Trump has confirmed that agreements have been reached with Iran.
The US president claimed that the Strait of Hormuz will now open and the US will lift the naval blockade of Iranian ports.
“Ships of the world, start your engines,” he wrote, adding “let the oil flow!”
"The deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete. Congratulations to all! I am fully authorizing the free opening of the Strait of Hormuz and, at the same time, authorizing the immediate lifting of the United States naval blockade. Ships of the world, start your engines. Let the oil flow!", the American leader asserted.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan has also announced that an agreement has been reached between the two countries.
Both sides have declared an immediate and permanent end to military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon, said Shehbaz Sharif.
"The official signing ceremony will be held on Friday, June 19 in Switzerland," he added.
"We would like to thank the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran for their commitment to finding a diplomatic solution to the conflict," Sharif affirmed.
Otherwise, Iran has not yet reacted to these developments and the reaching of the agreement with the US.
