Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has invited Srpska lista to come to Belgrade after the failure of the agreement on illegal Serbian license plates.
After meeting with the prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, he addressed journalists giving details of the talks in Brussels, writes The Geopost.
But what stands out is the reaction of Serbian citizens regarding his request to meet Srpska lista and the failure of this agreement.
Vucic’s statement was also flooded with negative comments and “likes”, not being well received.
Many citizens living in northern Kosovo have asked Vucic to leave them alone to live their lives the way they want.
“Let those who left [Kosovo] institutions and ‘remained unemployed’ enter into conflict with Srpska lista, so that we can finally see those patriots in action! And let ordinary citizens live their ordinary lives as before, ” one of the comments on Facebook said.
Otherwise, today’s meeting in Brussels was called a day before the start of the implementation of the second phase of the Kosovo government’s plan, namely the imposition of fines of 150 euros for drivers with illegal license plates.
The United States and the European Union have repeatedly demanded that the deadline for re-registering cars with illegal Serbian license plates be extended. / The Geopost/
