Zvonko Veselinović was mentioned in the ongoing investigation of high-ranking police officer Slobodan Malešić for organized crime and corruption.
The investigation against Malešić brings to light affairs and contacts with government officials and blacklisted businessmen.
“There were recorded conversations between Malešić and the mayor of Novi Sad, Miloš Vučević, regarding the party that the latter sent to Malešić, as well as Malešić’s conversations with Nebojša Stefanović,” the investigative file states.
In the Veselinović case, it is stated in more detail that Malešić “had direct contacts with Zvonko at his home in Novi Sad on April 7, 2021.”
Investigations show that the one sanctioned by the U.S. Treasury Department and the government of Great Britain was the one who destroyed Malešići’s facts.
It is said that they were contacted because of the fact that an unidentified person was allowed to enter Serbia, then because of “the hydroelectric plant that Veselinović is building in the Priboj area, for which Malešić has influenced the leaders of this municipality “.
They contacted, it is said, “because of the traffic accident involving Veselinović in Belgrade on April 8, 2021, in which Malešić gave instructions that Veselinović’s driver, Miljan Dragović, should not report to the police as a member of the gendarmerie to the investigating officers.”
They were also reportedly contacted about the “attempt to blackmail the owner of ‘Pauza’ in Novi Sad and place explosives under the vehicle of Dalibor Bogdanović, known as Boca.”
A former high-ranking police officer, Bogdanović has a rich criminal record and is on trial for kidnapping. He was also the victim of several assassination attempts, in which he was once seriously injured by the explosion of a bomb placed under his vehicle.
The same order describing the second contact of the alleged police officer with a certain Bekir Dudić also states that Zvonko Veselinović is Malešić’s godfather.
We remind you that Malešić was arrested one night after the elections, while the Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime accuses him of abuse of office, influence and corruption. /KP/
