
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, is staying in Albania today for the Ukraine – Southeast Europe Summit, where in his opening speech he declared that the failures of the Russian leader, Vladimir Putin, are their security, The Geopost reports.
According to him, Putin is trying to use old dictates for the states, so that they act as he wants.
“In the past there have been people who have tried to determine the fate of other nations, this has happened in the Balkans and in Eastern Europe, now Putin wants to do just that. It is important for our free countries that Putin and his regime lose, because his failures are our security,” said Zelensky.
The Ukrainian president also said that every nation in Europe that maintains the principles of the Euro-Atlantic community deserves to be part of the EU. While he thanked the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama and Albania for all the support for Ukraine, both military, humanitarian and political.
Meanwhile, after the meeting he had with Rama, Zelensky, through a post on the “X” social network, said that they talked about Ukraine’s defense needs and the possibility of joint production of weapons./The Geopost/
