Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, has signed an application for Ukraine to join the European Union.

Photo with the moment of signing, it was published from the page of the Ukrainian parliament on Twitter.
“This is a historic moment,” it said in a Twitter post.
Earlier, Zelensky called on the European Union to offer Ukraine immediate membership, with a special procedure.
