War criminal in the first place: A member of the “Scorpions” in celebration of the Day of the Municipality of Srebrenica

This “Scorpio” is called Sasa Cvjetan. He spent sixteen years in prisons in Serbia before being released on parole on March 22, 2018. He was convicted of war crimes in Kosovo. He was in Srebrenica with Jovo Brekic, a Serbian businessman and friend of mayor Mladen Grujicic. Brekiq and Cvjetan entered BiH together and were at the Srebrenica Municipality Day ceremony.

A member of the “Scorpions” unit, convicted of war crimes in Kosovo, was invited “VIP” to the celebrations of the Day of the Municipality of Srebrenica. He was sitting in the front row, when on March 11 this year, in the big hall of the House of Culture in Srebrenica, the Day of the Municipality was solemnly marked, where the genocide against Bosniaks took place. In July 1995, the Scorpions were one of the units whose members killed Srebrenica citizens captured on camera.

This “Scorpio” is called Sasha Cvjetan. He spent sixteen years in prisons in Serbia, before being released on parole on March 22, 2018. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison for war crimes against Albanian civilians in Podujeva, committed in March 1999. He was found guilty of murder of 14 Albanian civilians, women and children, members of the Bogujevci family.

There is a well-founded suspicion that Sasa Cvjetan on March 28, 1999, in Podujeva, as a member of the reserve unit “SAJ” (special anti-terrorist unit), he deliberately killed several people, by taking part in the operational processing of the terrain, with shots from an automatic firearm, killed Selman Gashi (1931), Amdi Duric (1928), Fitnet Shabani (1963), Idriz Tahiri (1930), all from Podujevo and fifteen other unidentified civilians, mostly women and children, it is stated in the decision on the investigation of the investigating judge of the District Court in Prokuplje (Serbia).

And now back to March 2022. The day of the municipality of Srebrenica was, as we said, marked on March 11. First, at 11 AM, a solemn session of the Municipal Assembly of Srebrenica was held in the small hall of the House of Culture. An hour later, a ceremonial academy was set up in the great hall of the House of Culture in Srebrenica. According to an excerpt from the BiH Border Police system, a person named Sasha Cvjetan entered Bosnia and Herzegovina from Serbia at 11:09 AM, on March 11, 2022, through the Bratunac border crossing. He is registered as a driver of a car with license plates BG2000EK. Date of birth proves to be “Scorpio” Sasha Cvjetan. Namely, convicted war criminal Sasa Cvjetan was born on December 20th. 1975. The same date of birth, the same name and surname are stated in the BiH Border Police system. Jovo Brekic was in the passenger seat in the car driven by Sasa Cvjetan. This is a Serbian businessman, co-owner of the company Ekonomik from Zemun, whose daughter company Ekonomik exists in Potocari. Businessman Jovo Brekic has excellent business and friendly relations with the mayor of Srebrenica, Mladen Grujicic. The photo below this paragraph was taken a few years ago. It is therefore indisputable that the businessman Jovo Brekiq, otherwise a friend of the President of Srebrenica Mladen Grujicic, entered the territory of BiH on March 11 at 11:09 AM accompanied by “Scorpio” Sasha Cvjetan, in a car Skoda, with registration plate BG2000EK. We follow that car further. Examining the photographs and recordings taken on 11 March 2022 in the center of Srebrenica, we were able to identify the disputed Skoda parked in front of the House of Culture in Srebrenica. And that at the moment when the ceremony on the occasion of the Srebrenica Municipality Day was being held in the big hall.

Another indisputable fact. The car in which Sasa Cvjetan and Jovo Brekic were registered at the Bratunac border crossing on March 11, 2022, was parked in front of the Srebrenica Cultural Center, where a ceremony organized by Brekic’s friend Mladen Grujicic was taking place at the time.

Now we go further, to the big hall of the House of Culture in Srebrenica. Looking at the hall from the direction of the pulpit, on the left, two important people for this story were sitting in the front row.

Using online face comparison programs, we control these people. First, Jovo Brekic, a Serbian businessman and friend of Chief Grujicic. It’s a person who is in the middle. Let’s compare the new photo with the photo taken a few years ago. The match is up to 90 percent and everything concludes that he is the same person.

Two witnesses who attended the ceremony will confirm to “Istraga” that it is Jovo Brekic, a Serbian businessman linked to President Mladen Grujicic. A brief overview of the indisputable facts. On the same day, 50 minutes before the start of the ceremony, businessman Jovo Brekiq entered Bosnia and Herzegovina through Bratunac border crossing. He was in a car driven by Sasha Cvjetan, a former member of the “Scorpions” convicted of war crimes in Kosovo. Cvjetan was driving a Skoda, with registration number BG2000EK. The controversial vehicle was photographed on March 11, 2022, in front of the House of Culture in Srebrenica, at a time when a ceremonial academy was held inside on the occasion of the Day of the Municipality of Srebrenica. Jovo Brekiq was in the hall, in the front row. But where did “Scorpio” Sasha Cvjetan go?

Although the new photo is of a rather poor quality and although the person is almost photographed from profile, the probability that Sasha Cvjetan is in both photos is 70 percent. But, compared to other evidence, the probability that war criminal Sasha Cvjetan was present at the celebration of the Day of the Municipality of Srebrenica is 100%. Let’s go over one more time. War criminal Sasha Cvjetan was born on December 20, 1975. Sasha Cvjetan, born on December 20, 1975, entered Bosnia and Herzegovina on March 11, 2022 at 11:00 through Bratunac border crossing. He was in the car with Jovo Brekic, a businessman from Belgrade and a friend of the mayor of Srebrenica, Mladen Grujic. Cvjetan was driving a Skoda, with registration number BG2000EK.
