Vulin with a narrative against NATO: They are aiming to impose a pro-Western government on Serbia

“NATO wants to impose the government on Serbia to fight Russia”, is the published disinformation by the state news agency Tass, said by the former Director of the Security Information Agency of Serbia, Aleksandar Vulin.

The US sanctioned person has misinformed that allegedly “NATO is doing everything to impose a government on the Serbs that would oppose Russia, despite the will of the Serbian people”.

What did Vulin say?

“The alliance is seeking to weaken Serbia and impose its government on the Balkan country that would confront Russia despite the will of the Serbian people. In the Balkans, as elsewhere globally, the West exclusively pursues its own interests, and these interests include trying to split the largest, and in most cases, the only state-forming nation in the Balkans, the Serbs. “NATO is doing everything to impose a government on the Serbs that would oppose Russia, despite the will of the Serbian people,” said Vulin.

Analysis:

It is not true that the West interferes in the formation of governments, and even less so in Serbia, wherein the last elections there were many irregularities for which there was also a resolution of the European Parliament highlighting the numerous violations. On the contrary, the West stands out as the democratic world in which the free vote is sacred, so Vulin is trying to defend the Vucic regime by disinformation, who has not imposed sanctions on Russia after the unprovoked military aggression against Ukraine
