At today’s meeting, the Government of the Republic of Serbia made a decision on the competences and scope of work of the vice-president and ministers without portfolios in the new mandate of the Government of Serbia, it was announced from Nemanjina on the 11th.
A decision was made to entrust Aleksandar Vulin, who performs the function of the Deputy Prime Minister, to, in coordination with the President of the Republic, monitor the status of projects from the scope of several ministries and special organizations of the Government.
“Also, he will propose measures to improve the cooperation of the Republic of Serbia with the BRICS countries, monitor the situation and propose measures to strengthen the ties of state authorities with the citizens of the Republic of Serbia in the diaspora,” they state.
Nenad Popović, minister without portfolio, will from today be in charge of monitoring the situation, proposing measures and participating in the coordination of activities in the field of international economic cooperation, as well as the social position of the church in the country and abroad.
In the future, Popović will also coordinate all activities aimed at the implementation of the “Key Point Serbia” project, according to the Government of Serbia.
With these appointments, Belgrade confirmed that Serbia’s membership in the EU as an alleged strategic goal is only declarative, while it uses EU funds abundantly. For several years, Serbia has not achieved any substantial progress towards membership. Moreover, it is the only country in Europe that has not aligned itself with the policy of EU sanctions against Russia.
The fact that Vulin is in the Government, an extremely pro-Russian man who was sanctioned by the USA in November last year “due to corruption and involvement in the drug trade, as well as due to ties with Russia”, with today’s added authority to cooperate with the BRICS countries, shows the true direction and commitment of Serbia – and it is a solid cooperation and alliance with Russia.
Let us remind you that the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, received an invitation to attend the summit of the BRICS countries in Kazan, Russia, from October 22 to 24, as a special guest. He mentioned it during his address on March 29, thanking for the invitation and saying that it will be considered in time.
This news was highlighted by the Russian agency TASS, with the information that Russia will organize more than 200 events during its presidency of this bloc, but that the central one will be in the capital of Tatarstan.
