Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and former Serbian Prime Minister Miloš Vučević have spoken out in joint messages for the “unity and stability of Serbia” in the face of internal and external destabilization efforts.
In a statement to citizens, Vučić emphasized that Serbia is facing major challenges, but reiterated that the country “remains true to its peaceful path and sustainable development”. “Nothing will divert us from our path. Serbia is being built every day with dedication and trust,” he said.
Meanwhile, Vučević declared at the SNS forum in Vrtogoš that the “color revolution” was over and the attempts to overthrow the institutions had failed. “We have saved Serbia. Those who called for destabilization have neither ideas nor will,” said Vučević.
These statements come at a time of domestic political tensions in Serbia, where the country has been facing months of protests that have rocked the authoritarian regime of Aleksandar Vučić
