Massive clashes, flying bottles, chairs, and boards overshadowed Sunday’s local elections in Serbia.
In Mionica, not far from polling station No. 30, a mass brawl broke out involving not only citizens but also, according to reports, members of Aleksandar Vučić’s party.
Videos of the incident show people in a café throwing glass bottles, boards, and chairs at a group of citizens on the street.

Regarding these developments, the ProGlas group has reacted, raising the question of whether the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, is sending the message with these “elections” that he will not peacefully leave power, alluding to the events during the local elections in Mionica, Negotin and Sečanj, writes Danas, reported The Geopost.
In a press release, ProGlas emphasizes that the course of the elections in Mionica, Negotin, and Sečanj so far reveals the violent nature of the regime, which no longer even attempts to conceal its election manipulations.
“The regime in these three countries has mobilized numerous masked thugs who intimidate citizens, surround polling stations, and chase away and beat up members of election observation missions in full view of the police. The police make no secret of the fact that they have no intention of intervening to protect the basic safety and voting rights of citizens. In some polling stations, the so-called ‘Bulgarian train’ has been discovered, while regime activists are marching through the streets with parallel voter lists. There is footage proving vote buying in public spaces,” the statement said. /The Geopost/
