Today EULEX will donate 10 vehicles to the Advisory Mission of the European Union in Ukraine. In these vehicles there are foodstuffs, clothes, sleeping bags, hygiene products and medical materials. For the launch of this convoy, EULEX held a ceremony, during which the representative of the Ukrainian contingent in KFOR, Ivana Stenko, spoke.
Stenko said that today a message is being sent to the world that Ukraine is not alone in this war.
“Today I have mixed emotions, on the one hand I feel ashamed while my friends are sacrificing their lives for Ukraine, on the other hand I am very proud to be here today and serve my international colleagues who are always ready to share the burden and send a message to the whole world that Ukraine is not alone in this war”, said Stenko.
“The large-scale undeclared war by Russia has opened a Pandora’s Box of basic needs, to be prepared for a war that Europe has not seen since World War II is quite a challenge and one cannot be ready 100%”, said the Ukrainian soldier.
