U.S.: Kosovans and Americans stand together with Ukraine

U.S. Ambassador to Kosovo Jeff Hovenier said that Kosovars stand with Ukraine against the constant threats that Russia is making to this country.

Through a post on the social network “Twitter”, Hovenier said that Russia is threatening democratic values.

“Kosovans #StandwithUkraine. Russia’s threat to Ukraine is a threat to democratic values everywhere. This is about fundamental, non-negotiable principles, including the inherent right of citizens to determine their country’s future.”, Hovenier wrote.

The statement posted on the website of the U.S. Embassy in Kosovo states that Americans and Kosovans must stand by Ukraine in order to have a free and stable Europe.

“Americans and Kosovans must stand together with Ukraine to ensure a free and stable Europe, which is in the best interest of the people of democracies, be they Americans or Kosovans or others around the globe.” said Hovenier, it is said on the statement./The Geopost/
