American congressman Ritchie Torres has welcomed the signing of the agreement between Kosovo and the MCC. He said that American investments are a vote of confidence for the future of Kosovo as an independent and vibrant democracy.
Torres in a post on Twitter congratulated Kosovo for securing this grant.

This agreement was signed two nights ago in Congress, while yesterday it was ratified in the Assembly of Kosovo.
All the deputies present were in favor of this agreement, while none abstained or voted against it.
