The ambassador of Russia in Serbia, Borcan Harchenko, has propagated the prohibition of the Serbian dinar in Kosovo, linking it to the “ethnic cleansing” of the Serbs.
He has thus continued the Russian narrative in an interview given to “Sputnik Srbija”.

This propaganda of his found scope in other media as well, such as in “Politica.rs” and “Kosovo Online”.

What did Harchenko say?
Bocan Harchenko on the situation in Kosovo: “They are banning the dinar to expel the Serbian people. We see that the memory of the Serbs is being erased even in financial matters. The situation is extremely painful. Measures have been taken for the expulsion of the Serbian people and the settlement of the Albanians. Banning the dinar is one of the worst measures regarding the financial system in the northern part of Kosovo. This is also the help of Belgrade, without which the Serbs down there cannot live. If we talk about the currency that has the right to be there, the northern part of Kosovo belongs to Serbia, that is why the Serbian dinar has the right to exist”, said Harchenko.

Analysis:
The propaganda statements of the Russian ambassador, Bocan Harchenko, are in full accordance with the narrative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia. We recall that a few days ago, the head of this department in Russia, Aleksandër Lavrov, spoke as he claimed about the “explosion of the Albanian issue” and mentioned “ethnic cleansing” several times. Spokesperson Maria Zakharova continued with this narrative in the briefing with journalists.
In Serbia, the first to promote this propaganda was the ex-coordinator of the so-called Office for Kosovo, Nebojsha Qovic, then the president of Serbia, Aleksandër Vucic, who on Wednesday on the “Kirilica” show on “Happy” television claimed that with the burning of a stables in Kamenica “Albanians want to carry out ethnic cleansing”.
This is a special propaganda which has been carried out for two weeks now by the Foreign Ministry of Russia in the direction of Kosovo./G.Venhari-The Geopost/
