The new Ambassador of the United States of America, Jeff Hovenier arrived in Kosovo yesterday.
The news was announced by the current Charge d’Affaires at the US Embassy in Pristina, Nicholas Giaxobbe, announcing that he had received Ambassador Hovenier.
” Today I welcomed Ambassador-designate Jeff Hovenier to Pristina. It has been an honor to serve as Chargé d’Affaires for the past several months.,” Giacobbe wrote on Twitter.
As he announced, Ambassador Hovenier will submit his credentials today.

“Continue to follow the US Embassy in Kosovo for updates on Ambassador Hovenier’s first weeks, including his credentialing ceremony tomorrow,” Giacobbe wrote.
Hovenier is a career diplomat with the US Foreign Service, who has been part of the staff of the United Nations Special Envoy for Kosovo.
Hovenier was nominated for ambassador to Kosovo in July by US President Joe Biden.
