Today he interviews Ukrainian prisoners of war, who are in Russian prisons, but the British journalist, Graham Phillips, in 2019 was declared an undesirable person (persona non grata) in Kosovo.
Graham Philips had made several reports in Kosovo where he said that “Kosovo as a new state is the result of ethnic cleansing of Serbs.”
He also mocked Kosovar pro-Americanism and portrayed the KLA as a terrorist organization.
He had also interviewed citizens to whom he had introduced himself as a journalist from Britain.
Graham William Phillips is a self-declared “British military journalist”.
Graham Phillips first appeared on the Ukrainian scene, reporting on hostilities beneficial to the Kremlin, while working as a correspondent for Russian television channels RT (Russia Today) and Zvezda. These two media outlets are controlled by the Kremlin.
Russia’s Defense Ministry had publicly announced that TV Zvezda journalists are considered representatives of the armed forces.
At the request of many Kosovars, Phillips was banned from Twitter, as he made propaganda and spread lies about both Kosovo and Ukraine.
International media, including the British, had reported on his announcement as an unwanted person in Kosovo.
Unable to operate in Kosovo, Phillips has been working for Russian forces in Ukraine since the start of the aggression. Recently, he published a video claiming to be from Mariupol, a city in southeastern Ukraine that Russia is trying to occupy at all costs.
