Svecla: Kosovo police in the north attacked

The attack on the Kosovo Police in the North, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, says was a terrorist attack to intimidate police officers, while adding that this was the fourth attack in a row.

Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla confirmed today that Kosovo Police were attacked in the northern part of the country.

In an extraordinary press conference, Sveçla said the police were attacked with hand grenades.

“Today around 07:40 there was an attack on the Kosovo police who were carrying out the change of shift at the border crossings. This already proven attack with hand grenades and AK 47 as a terrorist act was done to intimidate the police and citizens. In the last three days, there were four by different groups attacks on Kosovo Police”, he said.
