Serbia, through its structures, has planned to escalate the security situation in the north of our country. Within this plan, which has been understood by KosovaPress, is the provocation of attacks on the Kosovo police and KFOR members in the north by organised crime exponents linked to the security and political structures in Serbia.
According to the plan, EULEX members may become part of the target of the attack.
KosovaPress has learnt that the plan is aimed at escalating the situation by staging incidents that would lead to an open confrontation between the police and KFOR on the one hand and Serbian-Russian exponents on the other, the latter hoping to be supported by the army, with elements from Serbia following illegal routes to the north.
For this purpose, it is said that Serbia has recruited groups of young people in the north, for inclusion in its scenarios. They are part of the so-called “Northern Brigade”, a criminal group suspected of involvement in a number of criminal activities there, including the burning of cars of northern Serbs.
Some of its leaders have personal acquaintances with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, such as Vladimir Radivojevic, known as Mami from Zvečan.
That KFOR and its members are the target of these groups is also shown by the action of 26.08.2022, when they had monitored and photographed the static points of KFOR in the north, and had published them accompanied by coordinates and according to the state that belonging to.
KosovaPress learns that the persons prepared to attack the aforementioned security institutions are:
Vladimir Radivojevic, known as “Mami”. “Mami” has direct links with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. At the meeting in Raška on 13 October 2021, after Vladimir Radivojevic’s speech, the Serbian President asked the panellists to introduce themselves, saying that “I know him”, referring to “Mami”.
Vladimir Radivojevic “Mami” has many political connections and with various criminal groups in the north of the country. He is part of the “Delije supporters from Zvečan.
Aleksandar Jevremovic from Leposavic, who is the grandson of former Serbian minister Goran Bogdanovic. Together with VBA member Marko Vukasinovic, he leads a group of people in Leposavic who also present themselves as “Civil Protection” while operating from the “Mistik” bar in Leposavic.
Involved in these plans is Ugleša Jaredić, former commander of the Kosovo Police Rapid Intervention Unit for the North, integrated into the MUP structures, who resigned from the Kosovo Police a month ago. He was also previously part of the Serbian Gendarmerie.
