A huge billboard has appeared in Moscow that speaks of Russian-Serbian brotherhood.

Journalist Ivana Stradner published the photo and wrote that the huge sign was placed in front of Rossiya Segodnya, the state media conglomerate.

“Serbs and Russians are brothers forever” This was written in Moscow – in front of Rossiya Segodnya, Russia’s state media conglomerate. Relations are alive and well,” she wrote on Twitter.

According to reports, a large number of Serbian volunteers are fighting alongside Russian forces in Ukraine.

The behavior of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, who does not shy away from threatening war at every opportunity, has been the focus of attention in recent days by geopolitical pundits who have criticized the West for “coddling” him.

Serbia has refused to impose sanctions on Russia over its aggression against Ukraine, leading many Western politicians to condemn the policies Vucic is pursuing as a candidate for the European Union.

In addition, it has been reported several times that Serbia is also helping Russia with military equipment to maintain those brotherly relations that were on the billboard.

The connection between Russia and Serbia also arises because of the connection maintained by the Orthodox Church.

The Church plays an important role in the ideas of the Vučić regime. In May, at the height of the mass protests, the patriarch joined the president for lunch before praising him. Anyone who, like Vucic, “does everything for the good of Serbia” has his full support, Porfirije said. It was a blessing from above for a leader who had faced some headwinds because of the mass killings in Serbia.

Currently, a number of articles in reputable Western media are portraying the connection between the two leaders, Putin and Vučić. The Serbian president was shown to have ambitions to destabilize the region. He proved this by sending troops to the border with Kosovo after stirring up tensions in the north./The Geopost/
