Serbia is still using ambulances for criminal and terrorist purposes. Serbian media reported that an ambulance was stopped transporting narcotics. The ambulance is suspected to belong to the illegal structures of Serbia in the north of Kosovo.

The use of ambulances for criminal purposes was done by the Serbs last year in the north of Kosovo.

The terrorist organization “Severna Brigada” had transported weapons in ambulances to attack Kosovo institutions and NATO peacekeepers.

British MP Alicia Kearns also raised the alarm on this issue. She had said that there are weapons being smuggled from Serbia to Kosovo.

According to her, the weapons were transported by ambulances and sent to Orthodox churches.

Kearns said that KFOR soldiers from Britain were also aware of these criminal activities of Serbian structures in Kosovo.

“The government is aware, with the Fusiliers [British military regiment] having just returned from serving in KFOR, that there are weapons being smuggled across the border from Serbia into Orthodox churches in ambulances. When our troops were made aware of this and tried to get permission to go and get them, the permission process took a long time. By the time they had permission – the unexpected happened – an ambulance had already gone to the church and had taken out all the weapons again”, Kearns said then.
