The “Serbia Against Violence” list believes that today’s arrest of the Vice President of the National Movement of Serbia (NPS), Milos Pavlovic, shows that the “mafia and violent regime” of Aleksandar Vucic is “persecuting opposition politicians”.
As previously reported by the National Movement of Serbia (NPS), Pavlovic was arrested near Užice while travelling with his family to Zlatibor after being arrested for his alleged involvement in a violent protest in front of the Belgrade Assembly on 24 December last year.
“Instead of prosecuting those responsible for stealing the elections, the regime is persecuting opposition politicians, just before the constitution of the Belgrade Assembly, scheduled for Monday 19 February. “Our list says unequivocally that these moves will not intimidate or stop us in our fight against the regime of Aleksandar Vučić, as well as that we will be even more resolute in our intention not to allow the formation of an illegitimate government in Belgrade,” wrote the list “Serbia Against Violence”.
