The Embassy of the Russian Federation in Skopje has warned that “it is highlighting every case of Russophobia”
In a post on Twitter, the embassy wrote: “We draw your attention to the unprecedented level of Russophobia observed in many foreign countries against the background of the special military operation in Ukraine. We warn you that all such incidents are carefully recorded. “

But that has not stopped some citizens today from protesting against Russian aggression in Ukraine. The protest was organized by the Association of Ukrainians in Northern Macedonia.
“There is a threat to the whole of Europe from a nuclear attack. Putin will do his best to invade Ukraine. “He is monstrous and will go down in history as a great invader,” said Aleksandar Urbanovic, president of the Association of Ukrainians in Northern Macedonia.
He stressed that the protest came in support of Ukraine. “I want the country to be liberated and there to be peace,” Urbanovic said.
Marjana Velkovska from the Association of Ukrainians in Macedonia says that all citizens in Ukraine need help.
“I have relatives there, they are ready to stay there and fight for their country,” Velkovska said, adding that they need help.
