Russian Ambassador Bocan Kharchenko told Russia 24 television that the Serbian President informed him that the West is behind yesterday’s riots in Belgrade.
“The opposition started the protests, which were supported from outside. Vucic spoke about it, I cannot talk about the details because the information is confidential. “But he has irrefutable evidence that the incitement to unrest came from the West”, Bocan Kharchenko said after his meeting with the Serbian President, N1 reports.
Today, Vucic announced on his Instagram profile that he informed Ambassador Bocan Harchenko about last night’s riots in Belgrade and reiterated that “We will do everything to preserve the security of our citizens and our Serbia”.
“We also exchanged views on bilateral relations, the situation in the region and current geopolitical developments. I conveyed to the Ambassador my wish that our two peoples will meet the coming holidays and the New Year in peace and well-being,” Vucic said./N1/
