In an exclusive interview for Tevë1, investigative journalist for the Belgrade media outlet “Radar”, Milan Radonjić, revealed details about Milan Radonjić’s group that carried out the attack in Banjska Zvečan on September 24. He said that these people were placed in tents in the courtyard of the presidential palace in Belgrade during the protests called by Aleksandar Vučić. He added that these people had been called to raise tensions on March 15 in the largest protest organized since its inception. He confirmed that Serbs from Kosovo were also involved in the pro-Vučić protests.
Members of Milan Radojicic’s group, which carried out the terrorist attack in Banjska Zvecan, now appear to be coming to the aid of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
Serbian investigative journalist Milan Radonjic told Tevë1 that this group had already appeared in Belgrade and was seen leaving the Zvečan in the early hours of September 24, 2023.
“There are people who have been brought there, some veterans have turned up, some police units have been rebuilt, and there is information that people have been brought from the north of Kosovo.” Several members of the Serbian List have appeared there and according to our information, there are also members of the Radojčić group that carried out the attack in Banjska. I don’t know if I should call this event an attack. Nobody knows the idea behind this event. We know that it ended tragically: police officer Afrim Bunjaku and three members of his (Radojqiç’s) group were killed. “I believe that these people and many Serbs from Kosovo are unfortunately being blackmailed in one way or another and forced to stay there,” he says.
In response to the massive student protests, Vučić supporters have set up tents near the presidential palace.
According to the Serbian journalist, these people were brought here to raise tensions on Saturday, when another large protest is due to take place.
“We see that the institutions have taken all the necessary decisions and made all the preparations in case of an incident. We have a situation where near the park where the rally of this group is taking place, the fence has been removed and stones and bricks have been placed nearby that could easily be used in this gathering. I say again that the student protests in Serbia have been going on for three months now and there has never been a single incident. “The Serbian president himself has spoken several times in the last few days that great disaster will happen, that there will be many incidents and that the state will act as decisively as possible,” says Radojnić.
He says that many citizens from the north of Kosovo also came to Belgrade to support Vučić.
“Just now, a few moments ago, I received information from some colleagues who were in Pionir Park 10 minutes ago and saw some people there who had come by bus and were standing there without knowing what they were doing or why they were there,” he said. “But as always, this regime is ready to use the Serbs from Kosovo as pawns for its political goals, to play them off against themselves and abuse them in order to stay in power,” he says.
The investigative journalist from Belgrade declared that this was the biggest protest since the time of the butcher Milosevic.
The Serbian president has been facing massive protests for four months after the roof collapsed at the Novi Sad train station, killing 15 people.
