A Russian was caught illegally crossing the border from Serbia to the Republic of Kosovo, writes Gazeta Metro.
The police announced that yesterday in Zrnosek of Leposavic, while patrolling, they stopped the Russian male suspect who illegally crossed the border from Serbia to the Republic of Kosovo with his vehicle.
He was questioned and by the decision of the prosecutor he was arrested and taken into custody.
Otherwise, we recall that there was always talk about the presence of Russians and Russian agencies in Kosovo.
Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, Kosovo has taken a number of measures against the Russian state.
Last September, the Kosovo government decided that all Russian citizens, including those with diplomatic passports, who wish to enter, transit, or stay in Kosovo must obtain a visa.
Previously, Russian citizens with diplomatic and service passports were allowed to enter, transit, and stay in the territory of the Republic of Kosovo without a visa for up to 15 days.
Also, citizens of the countries for which Kosovo applies a visa requirement, but who have a valid biometric residence permit of one of the countries of the Schengen area, are exempt from the need to apply for a Kosovar visa./Gazeta Metro/
