The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has announced that more than 1,000 Russian soldiers have been killed during Russia’s aggression in the country.
According to local media, the Ukrainian Land Forces have said that Russian forces suffered heavy losses in the Bilovodsk region in Luhansk in eastern Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian television reported on Ukrainian military vehicles entering Kiev to defend the capital.
The mayor of the capital Vitali Klitschko said that the situation has entered a “defensive phase” as things have escalated in the last hour.
