The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has decorated the Ukrainian contingent of KFOR with the Presidential Military Medal.
This medal was awarded for “the contribution given for more than two decades for the peace and security of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo”, said Osmani.
“Today’s medal is a tribute to the 1400 women and men of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who served in Kosovo since 1999 within the NATO forces, but also an appreciation for the professionalism and bravery that this army is manifesting. “In these dark times for the Ukrainian people and for our entire continent”, added President Osmani.
