Some of the roads in the north of Kosovo continue to be blocked for the ninth day in a row, as a result of the placement of barricades by local Serbs supported by the Belgrade regime.
This situation continues to worsen due to the fact that dozens of armed Serbian and Russian extremist groups have increased their presence in this part of Kosovo, writes The Geopost.
The leader of the Russian extremist group “Night Wolves”, Aleksandr Zaldostanov, through a post on Telegram, confirms that some members are at the barricades in the north of Kosovo.
They are seen giving support to the placement of these barricades, placed a week ago, saying that Serbia’s victory will also be Russia’s victory.
“The director of the ‘Night Wolves’, Aleksandr Zaldostanov, has announced on his Telegram channel that members of his organization, which is on the EU and US blacklist, are at barricades in the north of Kosovo. “Serbia’s victory is Russia’s victory,” wrote Zaldostanov.

This group has developed strong ties with Putin, who is often described in the media as “friends”. This extremist group are regular participants in nationalist marches, funded by the Kremlin and deeply embedded in the structure of the Russian Orthodox Church.
These are known for their support for the Serbs from Kosovo, but also for their “humanitarian work” and support for the “Orthodox Brothers”.
It is widely believed that members of this motorcycle club aim to foment anti-Western sentiment in the Balkans, where they have strong ties to pro-Russian politicians in the region. In other words, the Kremlin has pushed them out of the margins to use their pro-Putinism, orthodoxy, and anti-American rhetoric.
Security expert Agim Musliu has confirmed that the Russian presence is present in this part of Kosovo.
“Symbols of Russian aggression in Ukraine, with additional symbols for Kosovo as well. In the north, there is a Russian presence these days. It is increasing every day”, Musliu wrote on Facebook.
“Also armed, paramilitary structures. Controlled by the head of Serbia, the criminal Vucic. Putin’s greatest ally and the benefactor who has put a part of Europe to sleep!”, he added.
Musliu’s reaction comes after the American researcher Ivana Stradner shared on Twitter the symbols of Russian aggression in Ukraine, intended specifically for Kosovo.
“Apparently, the sign ‘Z’ is no longer only associated with Russian aggression in Ukraine. Russian ‘Telegram’ now promotes a new slogan “Z for Kosovo”, wrote Strander.
