In an interview with CNN, Prime Minister Albin Kurti labeled the actions of Russian President Vladimir Putin in Ukraine as war crimes.
“His horrific crimes that we are all seeing happening in Eastern Ukraine are definitely war crimes and it is up to the investigators to prove these crimes against humanity and this genocide,” Kurti told CNN.
“I think Putin should appear at the International Criminal Court sooner or later.”
Kurti reiterated Kosovo’s support for Ukraine, adding that the country should receive more assistance from NATO.
“Ukraine needs more help from NATO, and from the beginning we have supported Ukraine’s effort.”
