Komsic believes that Serbia’s vote in the United Nations for a resolution against Russian aggression is positive, but says that they fear that “the majority in Serbia thinks like those who marched through the streets of pro-Russian Belgrade”, adding that such a mood for war is not a good thing.
In an exclusive interview with the “Gazeta Express”, the President of the BiH Presidency, Zeljko Komsic, spoke about the Russian aggression against Ukraine and the possible consequences of that aggression against the Western Balkans region. President Komsic also spoke about the relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo, the attitude of the West towards the current situation in Ukraine and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In the case of Ukraine’s military capitulation, he pointed out that Putin would destabilize Bosnia and Herzegovina through the Dodik-Covic duo, “which aims to undermine the election process that will take place in Bosnia and Herzegovina in October this year.” He also said that the West’s attitude towards such developments would show whether destabilization would be allowed, and that if something like this happened with the election process, the consequences would be not only political.
