“We are monitoring the situation and working closely with leaders in Belgrade and Pristina, as well as with our international partners, to maintain a safe and secure environment for all the people of Kosovo”, the KFOR mission in Kosovo said tonight, following the decision of the Serbs from the North to leave the institutions and the rise of new tensions.
They called on all to address and discuss their differences in a constructive dialogue, KoSSev reports.

NATO Deputy Secretary General Mircea Joana also spoke shortly before the KFOR mission.
He said that he had spoken to the EU Special Envoy for Dialogue about the tense situation in northern Kosovo.

A new number plate crisis is under way in Kosovo. The Kosovo government has decided to gradually implement its spring decision to remove the remaining Serbian plates of cities in Kosovo from vehicles on the ground.
