The Financial Times, citing three sources, reported that missing Russian General Sergei Surovikin has been arrested.
“Nothing has happened,” the daughter of Russian General Sergei Surovikin said today following reports of his arrest.
Surovikin has not been seen in public since Saturday.

Talking to Baza, Surovikin’s daughter Veronika said, “Nothing happened to him and no one arrested him.”
She added that “everyone is at their workplaces”.
Veronika also said that her father “is not present in the media every day and does not make statements.”
Surovikin’s wife declined to comment on the rumors of his arrest.
The New York Times, citing anonymous U.S. intelligence sources, reported that Surovikin had already known about the rebellion led by Wagner’s boss, Yevgeny Prigozhin, with whom he had good relations.
Surovikin heads Russia’s Space Force and was Moscow’s former commander-in-chief in Ukraine.
