European Commission spokesman Markus Lammert said on Friday that the European Union has made it clear to everyone including Serbia that relations with Russia can’t be normal while the war is underway.
He said that the EU wants to be able to count on Serbia as a reliable partner in terms of common principles, values, security and progress and added that official Belgrade needs to confirm its strategic determination towards EU accession.
Lammert said that the EU was crystal clear to all its partners, including candidate countries which means Serbia as well that relations with Russia can’t go on as usual while the Putin regime is in power.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said he would be in Moscow on May 9 for the WW 2 victory parade.
