The President of the Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, today sent a telegram of condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin for the loss of life in the attacks in the Bryansk and Kursk regions of Russia.
“It is with immense sadness and sincere regret that I have received the news of the tragic loss of life in the attacks in the Bryansk and Kursk regions. On behalf of the citizens of the Republika Srpska and on my own behalf, I express my deepest condolences. In these difficult moments, we deeply sympathise with the families of the innocent civilians who died and with all the fraternal people of the Russian Federation, with the hope that the wounded will recover as soon as possible,” reads the telegram sent by Dodik, RTRS reports.
Seven people are killed and 71 injured, including four children, after an overpass collapsed on a Moscow-bound passenger train overnight near the Russian city of Bryansk. An accident also occurred in the Kursk region when a railway bridge collapsed while a freight train was crossing it, Russian media reported. The Russian Investigative Committee announced today that incidents related to explosions on railway lines in the Bryansk and Kursk regions have been classified as terrorist attacks./BBC/
