Foreign Minister Gordan Grlic Radman announced in Brussels on Wednesday that Croatia would expel some Russian diplomats, as many EU and NATO members have already done.
“We will do it out of solidarity and as a reaction to what is happening, to these horrific scenes from Bucha and other Ukrainian regions,” said Grlic Radman, coming to the meeting of foreign ministers of NATO member states.
He pointed out that it strongly reminds of the tragic events of more than 30 years ago in Vukovar, its heroic defense and victims.
A number of NATO and EU member states have decided to expel some Russian diplomats after reports of the discovery of mass graves and killings of civilians in the Ukrainian city of Bucha, following the withdrawal of Russian troops.
