Balkan summit on disinformation, Sazanov: Russia with early tradition of propaganda, targets the West

The Balkan Summit on disinformation organized by the Geopost, which has gathered experts in this field from different countries of the world, has started.

The researcher from Estonia, Vladimir Sazonov, in the framework of the “Balkan Disinformation Summit”, stated that Russia’s propaganda targets European and Western policies. He adds that Russia has a tradition of propaganda since early times.

“Russia has a tradition of propaganda, influence on identity since the imperialist period, and this does not stop. It won’t stop,” he said in the first panel where disinformation in Europe was discussed.

Sazanov said that Russia has an imperialist agenda.

“There is propaganda activity, especially in Ukraine, Georgia and the countries of the Western Balkans,” he said./The Geopost/
