People’s Party MP Miroslav Aleksic said today that the government has no answer to inflation, shortages and rising prices of petrol, milk and electricity and is therefore “trying to shift the responsibility onto others”, while Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic “mocks Serbian peasants and insults them”.
“There are no producers in Serbia because people will not do something that does not even cover their basic expenses, let alone earn something. That’s why the countryside and agriculture are dying in Serbia,” Aleksic told the Serbian parliament.
Aleksic said that there would be no electricity in Serbia because EPS was ruined by people like former director Milorad Grcic, who owned the bakery, and believes the government’s claim that the electricity problems are a consequence of “the situation in the world” to be false.
“The proposed amendments to the Law on Ministries include neither economic nor national patriotism, but are therefore full of waste of citizens’ money, from the number of ministries, which are the largest in Europe, to the way they are organised,” Aleksic said.
Speaking on behalf of his party, Aleksic suggested merging tourism with the economy, rather than combining tourism and youth into one ministry.
The head of the parliamentary group of the People’s Party said that Velko Belivuk’s clan was created during the “regime of the SNS and Vucic”, who did not want or did not know how to prevent the functioning of this criminal group and therefore should be held responsible.
“In the Jovanjica case, the entire top of the government, the president, the prime minister, the MPs and everyone else protected the drug manufacturer, and the director of the BIA, Bratislav Gasic, was in contact with the accused owner of this property, Predrag Koluvija, and representatives of the VOA, BIA and MUP were involved in this case,” Aleksic said./Nova.rs/
